Summer fun

One evening this summer I went to my sister-in-laws to photographer their two boys. They didn't mind getting photographed alone but trying to get them together for one was interesting.

H just loves to hunt and was showing me his fort and gun.

Probably watching their aunt Lynette who was trying out my camera and getting ready for her first wedding with me! Lynette has done two weddings with me and the third one is this weekend.

Celebrating 50 years

I photographed this family the day after E and J's wedding. They were such a welcoming family and invited me to stay for lunch after the shoot. This was the first time in a while that all the family was together to celebrate the grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. I also did individual families while there.
Grandma, grandpa with their children and spouses.
 Funny face.

 The whole group.
I did this photo shoot on a Sunday afternoon. Tuesday morning I received an email from the woman who had contacted me with some extremely sad news. Her brother-in-law had passed away. The family was so happy that they had these photos of him just a few days before. The entire family is in my thoughts as I'm posting tonight. Thank you so much for thinking of me to capture your family in everlasting photographs.

20 Photos

 Beautiful dress and flowers
E had seen some photos with the groom blindfolded for the first look. It was fun watching them "see" each other and E take the blind fold off of M.

 Doing a spin for M

E really looked for photo ideas which I loved! this was one of her ideas. While we were one the beach taking photos M brother nailed these to the fence for us.
M's new gun...he was happy to have photos done when I let him use it in some pictures.
 Beautiful bride.
On the way back to the church to meet the bridal party we passed this field and I just had to stop!

M's brother P wanted to pick pettles off and throw them in the air for a picture.
 Bridal party

We got some fun shots of this.

Ruffles and Flowers

I met A when she was just a few months old. She is just a little more active now! I had so much fun trying to capture her as she ran from flower garden to trees in her back yard. She is such a sweet young lady!

Classic car and a wedding

Wendy and I got up early before E and J's wedding and traveled to their house to photograph the guys and breakfast. One of the groomsmen said we could have the Saturday off since he had instagram on his IPhone.   I have to admit some of his photos were pretty good. But I still don't want an IPhone...yet.
E's dress was stunning. It was flowing with flowers, perfect for a summer wedding.
 Her shoes, which I loved!
Of course J had his car for a prop. I LOVE the American muscle cars and would have taken the bride and groom with the car for a six hour tour if they would have let me :)

 Bubbles...what more could you want?

This old depot was just behind the church. I had so much fun using it as a backdrop.
 Just Married
We did take a few along a nature trail.
At a wedding a few years ago I did a "photo booth" well Wendy did while I photographed the reception. E and J had an actual photo booth at their wedding, and was it a hit! It was kind of like a guest book also. You went into the photo booth had four photos taken and then it printed two strips, one for an album for E and J and one for you to take home!

Thank you E and J for such a fun day!
